- With 20+ years of widely varied business experience, including 9 years
at C-level management, Thomas E. S. Haskins has a wide variety of
accomplishments and successes, from Banking to mortgages to management
in retail, operations, storage, rental, equipment fleets and more. His specialties are quick startups,
business rescue and turnaround, consulting, trouble-shooting and
business development and organization.

- Thomas Ellis Stanley Haskins was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, grew
up in Brookline Massachusetts, completed his Bachelor degree at Harvard
University and entered the banking industry at Shawmut Bank, N.A. in
1989. A third generation graduate
of Harvard University, Thomas comes from a long line of American
patriots tracing back to three ancestors on the Mayflower, participants
in the American Revolution and Civil War, and five United States
presidents.
- He is a man of many interests and pursuits from reading the classics, to
writing poetry, fiction and sayings and writing about America’s founding
fathers. Thomas holds a 2nd
degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has enjoyed a variety of sports all
of his life including tennis, squash, rugby, soccer, basketball, long
distance running and chess.
Overflowing with creative energy, Thomas has pursued
furniture-making and carpentry, knitting, drawing, clothing design and
manufacture, politics and the design of over 30 inventions.
- In October, 1998 Thomas founded U. S. Finance Group, LLC, a mortgage
brokerage firm, with two partners.
This company was profitable from its second month through its
ninth year when he sold it and moved to another industry.
- Thomas is the author of “In The Words of Our Founding Fathers” and
related booklets. These are books
of quotes from America’s founding fathers touching on some of America’s
most pressing issues today and are available for sale in several
countries around the world.
Thomas gives lectures on this and other topics at community
events.
- Thomas is also the founder of The RAFF Institute, a not-for-profit
organization dedicated to introducing monthly and quarterly regional
meetings around America for every day Americans to gather, listen to
informed lectures about America’s founding fathers, their original
intent, and how to get involved politically and then engage in enjoyable
debates, discussions and networking.
- In 2007 Thomas briefly ran for State Representative from Ashland,
Massachusetts, and looks forward to further political involvement.
